Agents write quickly and review poorly by default. A simplify or code-review skill that runs before the code is presented means what you see is the second draft. Put the project's review standards in CLAUDE.md so the pass checks for them.

The article's example standards: functions over 30 lines, logic duplicated more than twice, untyped values, components with too many loose props, missing error handling on async work. Pair the skill with a checklist specific to the codebase.
